Saturday, September 28th, join us at Vino Mas -14450 Eagle Run Dr, Omaha- from 2:00-4:00pm, for a day of WINE, BEER, and DOGS! For only $20, you can sample 5 wines and 3 beers, and appetizers. Shop our bake sale and meet the Charpoocherie Pups!
$15 of the wine tasting ticket price and 10% of all other sales between 2-4pm will be donated directly to HUGS.

Walk and Dogfest

Join us on Sunday, September 29, 2024 for the 35th annual Margre Durham Walk & Dog Fest!
We will be in the meadow on the NHS campus, from 11 am to 1:30pm. Attractions include Vendor Village, Rescue Groups, Silent Auction, Beer Garden, Adoption Parade, Great Food available for purchase, Entertainment and, of course, the Walk down the Keystone Trail. The best part of all, it's all dog-friendly!
HUGS will be there with adoptable dogs and puppies. You can just come the day of the event, admission is free. Hope to see you there!
HUGS at Defiance Harley-Davidson

HUGS will join other local rescues at Defiance Harley-Davidson for a relaxing, dog-friendly day, filled with fun activities for everyone. Here's the schedule, courtesy of our host:
10am-3pm-Visit Rescues and Vendors.
11am 'til gone-$5 hot dogs, chips & soda or beer*
Dog friendly vendors
11:00am-Adopt-A-Dog Parade. The rescues will walk the dogs around for you to see in all their Furry Glory.
12pm-Advice by Double Rainbow Dog Training, LLC.
1pm-Dog Costume Contest. 1st, 2nd & 3rd place prizes of $200, $100 and $50.00
We will have Rescues on-site for you to find your new family member!**
Other rescues onsite include Little White Dog Rescue, Haven Animal Rescue of Omaha, Bullies-N-Beyond ResQ Inc, SNAFU Rescue, Bailing out Benji, ShelterMe Nebraska, Taysia Blue, and Town & Country Animal Rescue.
*Please drink responsibly.
