German Shepherd dogs, as well as the other herding breeds that we have in rescue, are highly active, energetic, working breeds. They require considerable vetting, exercise, socialization, training, leadership and mental stimuli in order to be well-adjusted, well-balanced, and well-mannered dogs. Even if you exercise and play with your dog daily in your fenced yard, you MUST still take your dog out on daily walks and outings in order to work on his/her leash skills, manners, and social skills. These breeds make great additions to active families who will pamper them, but who will also work with them, as they are smart dogs who need leadership, structure, plenty of activity and mental stimulation.

Brienne is an approx 1 year-old girl who is an amazing pup. At 42 lbs and practically full-grown, she is absolutely adorable!

Brie is an adorable youngster who loves chew toys, squeaky toys, and being on-the-go! Brie is a dream! She gets along well with other dogs. She's very well-behaved on outings. She is good around kids. She likes being with her humans and is sweet and affectionate without being clingy. She really enjoys to go for walks/ jogs. She is crate-trained, potty-trained, she knows sit, down and "go to bed". She does well on car rides. She is nice and calm in the house once she has had her exercise, but she is always ready to go on an adventure whenever you are. She is a very sweet, smart girl!

Like all German Shepherd Dogs, Australian Cattle Dogs, and other herding breed mixes that we have in rescue, Brie will need training, consistency, boundaries, and lots of activity and socialization, in order to become a well-balanced, well-behaved dog.
